Refund Policy
We want you to be confident in your decision to learn with us. Before you purchase, every course on The Foundation Room includes at least one free preview lesson per foundation so you can sample the teaching style.
In short: 7-day, no-questions-asked refund window — provided you haven't watched more than 20% of the purchased content.
1. When a refund is available
- Within 7 calendar days of the purchase date.
- You have consumed less than 20% of the purchased content (measured as total watched-seconds ÷ total lesson duration).
- No certificate has been issued for the course or foundation.
2. When a refund is not available
- After 7 days from purchase.
- When more than 20% of the purchased content has been watched.
- After a certificate of completion has been issued.
- Individual foundation purchases are non-refundable once the next foundation has been purchased, since the sequence-unlock relied on the completed one.
- Live sessions already attended are non-refundable.
3. How to request a refund
- Email support@thefoundationroom.in from the email address on your account.
- Include the course name, purchase date, and Razorpay payment id (visible in your payments page).
- We reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days (timing depends on your bank).
4. Exceptional circumstances
If a course is materially changed or removed after you purchase it, you may request a pro-rata refund regardless of the 7-day window.
If you experience a genuine technical issue that prevents access and we cannot resolve it, we will refund the affected purchase in full.
5. Taxes and charges
Any applicable GST is included in the price you pay and is refunded together with the course amount. Razorpay processing fees are not deducted from your refund.
