Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of The Foundation Room platform, including thefoundationroom.in and its subdomains, courses, mobile apps, and any content or services we provide (the "Service"). By creating an account you accept these Terms.
1. Your account
- You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it current.
- You are responsible for activity under your account. Keep your password secure.
- One account per person. You may not share accounts with others.
- You must be at least 13 years old. Minors (under 18) must have a parent or guardian's consent.
2. Content and licence
All lessons, videos, sheet music, and written material on the Service are the intellectual property of TFR and its instructors. When you enrol in a course, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial licence to access that content for your own learning.
You may not download, copy, re-upload, publicly perform, or redistribute any course content without written permission from TFR and the instructor.
3. Your submissions
Recordings and assignments you submit remain your property. By submitting, you grant TFR a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and use them for the purpose of instruction, grading, and platform operation. We do not use student submissions for marketing without explicit consent.
4. Payments and access
- Course prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) and charged via Razorpay.
- "Bundle" purchases grant access to the entire course; "Individual" (foundation) purchases grant access to a single foundation (A–E) and must be bought in sequence, with the previous foundation fully completed.
- Free preview lessons are available without purchase. Beyond previews, access requires a completed purchase.
- Access is normally granted for the lifetime of the course on the platform.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for anything unlawful or infringing.
- Attempt to bypass the lesson-access controls, progress tracking, or preview system.
- Scrape, mirror, or framebust the Service.
- Upload malicious code, spam, or content that harasses others.
- Impersonate any person, including an instructor or TFR staff.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
6. Live sessions
Masterclasses and live sessions are recorded and may be made available to other enrolled students. By joining, you consent to being recorded. If you prefer not to appear on camera, keep your camera off.
7. Changes to the Service
We may add, remove, or change features at any time. If a change materially reduces a paid course you've purchased, you may request a refund under our refund policy.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. On termination, your access to paid content ends; we do not pro-rate refunds except as stated in the refund policy.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is". TFR makes no guarantee of specific artistic or career outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
